Don't Download 'WhatsApp Gold' You Are Being Tricked Into Downloading Malware

WhatsApp users are currently being tricked into downloading 'WhatsApp Gold' a supposedly an exclusive version of the WhatApp app which actually infects the users mobile device with malware.

The users who reported this have received a message urging them to sign up for the service via the WhatsApp Gold website.

The scamer tells the user that the WhatApp Gold has features that have only been available to top celebrities.

Features such as sending hundreds of pictures at once, new emojis, video calling, enhanced security features and more customisation options.

Installing this so called WhatsApp Gold will simply infect your phone with malware, possibly allowing cybercriminals to steal your data and track your movements and activity.

It’s been going on for a while and sometimes under the name of 'WhatsApp Plus'.

Actually if you have somehow downloaded this WhatsApp will ban you if it detects this unauthorised software on your phone and it says it in their FAQ section "WhatsAPP Plus is an application that was not developed by Whatsapp, nor is it authorised by WhatsApp.

We recomend that you get the message out and if you installed WhatsApp Gold to immediately uninstall it and install an anti virus specially for Android Users.

Probably you will be blocked from using WhatsApp for 24hours.
