Aquaman has just passed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in worldwide ticket sales, with $887 million in box office edging out Batman v Superman‘s cumulative $873 million.
international sales responsible for 75% of the film’s revenue – $279 million in China, the second-biggest superhero film of all time behind Avengers: Infinity War. It’s even more popular than The Dark Knight overseas.
Domestically, Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice topping that list and Aquaman comes third.
