This 51 year old man has been having nosebleeds for the past 10 days non-stop so he went to the Beihai People’s Hospital in South China to seek medical help.
Doctors then pulled out a live leech from the patient’s nostril where it had been hiding for two weeks.
The Doctor who is doing the medical procedure tells the patient to calm down while the man’s agonising facial expressions suggest it to be a painful experience in the footage taken.
The disgusting extraction of the leech was filmed by the assisting nurse. It is not clear how the patient acquired the slithery nose invader but it likely entered his nostrils while he swam in a river.
The question is how did he wait for two weeks before seeking medical help…
