HBO Announces Young Cast For Game Of Thrones Prequel Series

The cast of HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel is coming together.

Naomi Watts is taking on a role of a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret.

The story chronicles how the golden Age of Heroes leaps into its darkest hour.

Only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend — it’s not the story we think we know.

The 8 young actors are mostly big names from theatre or specialised in period drama.

Jamie Campbell Bower, young Grindelwald and shadowhunter.

Toby Regbo, portrayed young Dumbledore, is always in period drama like Francis II of France, Queen of Scots, Reign and The Last Kingdom.

Georgie Henley, little Lucy from Narnia

Naomi Ackie, best known for her role in Lady Macbeth

Denise Gough, notable for her work in theatre. Gough is a two time Olivier Award winner and won “2015 Best Female Vocal Performance in a Video Game” for her Yennefer voice acting.

Sheila Atim, best known for her musical performance.

Ivanno Jeremiah, actor of “Humans” and “Shut Up and Dance” in Black Mirror

Alex Sharp, the original Christopher Boone in the Broadway Production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

S.J. Clarkson will direct its pilot episode.
