The 17-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger decided to try the “Bird Box” Challenge. She pulled a beanie over her eyes and kept driving.
Shortly after, the teen panicked and ran into the eastbound lanes. She hit another car, a light pole and a sound wall.
This happened next to a crosswalk. Police are screening a reckless driving charge with the City Attorney’s office.
