Mia Khalifa Shares Footage Of Surgery After Breast Implant Exploded

Last year, former adult film actress Mia Khalifa was watching a Stanley Cup Playoff game when a wayward ice hockey puck went flying into her chest.

The puck hit one of her breast implants, and left part of her chest ‘deflated’. Mia said at the time it ruptured her left implant and left her feeling like ‘blood was going everywhere’.

Mia, now a sports presenter and commentator, kept the puck as a souvenir, despite the damage it did to her at 80mph.

Now, the 26-year-old has shared a detailed video about the reconstructive surgery she had to undergo to fix her ‘hockey puck breast injury’.

Posting on Instagram, she wrote:

You can say anything you want about me and my decisions, but one thing that no one can argue is my transparency on social media. I don’t hide behind filters or make things out to be better than they are. Sometimes things are ugly, and bloody, and boring, and covered in hormonal breakouts, but that is life and I will always embrace it.

This was my decision behind sharing my surgery journey with @drjaycalvert, I could go on and on about what he did to fix my hockey puck breast injury, but i won’t because I could never be as eloquent as he is, just watch the video for yourself.

She also wrote about the graphic video, saying she has shared as much of the actual surgery as YouTube would allow, and the footage is ‘not for the faint of heart’.

Posting the video on YouTube, Mia said:

Dr. Jay Calvert is a board certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, one of the best in his field, and also the host of the Dr. Hockey Podcast first reached out to me to be on his podcast and talk playoffs.

After hearing about my gruesome injury at the Capitals/Lightening playoff game where i got hit in the left breast with a hockey puck during the game, he knew he could help me. I was reluctant to let a penguins fan operate on me at first, but in the end, I trusted him and his years of experience specializing in revision work, and thank god I did!!
