A vet has revealed the devastating thing pets usually do in their final moments when being put down – and it’s all caused by their owners.
A Twitter user, Jessi Dietrich, said she had asked her vet to share the hardest part about his job: 
A similar post was shared on the Facebook page of Hillcrest Veterinary Hospital, which was written by a ‘tired, broken vet’ and urged pet owners to not leave them in their final moments. 
“Do not make them transition from life to death in a room full of strangers, in a place they don’t like,” the post read.
“The thing people need to know that most of you don’t, is that they search for you when you leave them behind.”
So, if you’re an owner that will choose to leave the room, please rethink it or you may regret it in the future.
